Ridiculous interest rates
I don't need a loan at the moment, but I just saw an advert advertising them at... 437.4% typical APR!

Now, I'm not particularly clued up on financial matters, but surely that's just obscene!!! Is this even in the realms of normality; have I led a life sheltered from these crazy rates?

As I've said elsewhere the local loan shark (crooked as he is) charges twelve and a half percent on the whole amount of the loan.. borrow a grand, and he expects 1125 back.. however, he does get a bit insistent if you miss a payment.!! but its still a better option than the above!0
