Factory and Clearance Shops near Glasgow

They have just closed Littlewoods Clearance in Hamilton and are going to re-open it in East Kilbride. I rarely shop in EK preferring to go into Glasgow. I am now looking for some new places to shop. Does anyone know of any good factory or clearance shops in the area. I know about Matalan & Next at the Forge and am going to check out Matalan Clearance in Renfrew.

I did search to see if this was an existing thread so if there is and I have upset some people lets improve the search facility and stop all the newbies getting rows.

There are 2 Clarks Factory shops in Glasgow. The one in Parkhead Forge Shopping Centre which is in the shopping mall opposite the Forge Retail Park where Next is. It has glass pyramids. The other one is in Argyle Street next to Primark. They have a BOGOF on lots ladies shoes just now and it works out around £30.00 for 2 pairs of shoes. I don’t think Argyle St has children’s shoes.

Theres also a Lidl clearance store in Maryhill on Shiskin drive. All clothes are £1, also lots of sandals, socks etc, all £1 or under. They are quite 'german' in taste :) though I have had a few great bargains in there.

Do you know if they are they open 7 days a week? Would you be able to give directions as I don't know that end of the city. Is there any landmarks that I could look for to help me.
    Cheers

Lidl clearance shop is closed monday and tuesday, open the other days till at least five.

Its just off maryhill road. From the motorway (m8) leave at junction 16. Go straight on next two sets of lights. Get into outside lane, the road takes you under the motorway - on your left is a big outdoor shop and chinatown bit. verge right, go straight on at next lights - you are now at the bottom of maryhill road. Its a very long road continue a few miles, you'll pass a tesco on your left. Continue under the railway bridge. After the railway bridge there are a few shops. You are turning right, theres a rbs on the corner. The lidl is just on the left.

    Hope you find it ok!
