We are about to come to the end of a 2 year tracker deal with Halifax and they have offered the following deals 2 year fixed rate @ 6.69% with a £699 fee, 2 year tracker @ 6.69% (1.69% above base rate) with a fee of £999 or a term tracker @ 6.89% with a £299 fee. Barclays seem to be offering alot better fixed deals at the moment and their Tracker is a term tracker.

My question is I am tempted by the Barclays Tracker but don't know too much about them any assistance in what my best move should be would be appreciated

what is right for you may not be right for someone else. 2 year deal would be too short for me, for example, as I want longer security but for you it may be perfect.

I would seek advice if you want to get overall opinion on whether their deal is right for you in comparison to other lenders
