After a small amount of effort customer services credited me with the extra clubcard points. Of course these are a very small amount of points but when you are saving up clubcard points any way you can to be able to afford 4x value in days out for your son, but end up with less points and £30 of call credit that you wouldn't have otherwise needed to buy for many months, it can get a bit more emotive.

The points are really neither here nor there, my concern - which I expressed to CS - was that customers were being misled, perhaps accidentally, with a promotion which I felt was impossible to qualify for (Promotion: spend £15+ to get triple clubcard points. Reality for me: £15 vouchers could not be issued and £10/£5 vouchers do not qualify. How can £15 earn triple points then?). I was hoping for some private dialogue with CS to ensure that future promotions were less misleading and that till staff understood what denominations were to be issued for customers to get the deal they were expecting, but after 3 weeks of obstacles and misinformation I have given up and am looking at elevating the problem through external channels to ensure there is no repetition.

I'm not someone who complains a lot, but I do feel very strongly that this particular promotion was highly misleading. Tesco CS have yet to even attempt to convince me that I have misunderstood, they just do not seem to care that - from what I can tell - thousands of customers may have been earning less clubcard points than they were expecting. Of course, once the £10 voucher was incorrectly issued, Tesco would not give refunds on it.

Best advice was here on this forum, to stick to Boots' Advantage card for topups, a straightforward minimum 4% payback with no smoke and mirrors.

Does anyone have a list of current extra points offers on grocery goods? Or know a website which lists them?

Quite a good offer, there are 5 in the range, all products we need to buy anyway most weeks. 25 points are worth £1 in deals so in theory we can clean the loo for nothing! Fingers crossed now that our little Tesco stocks this range

Also useful if you have a spare card that you dont use much, get the points total up to 150 so you get a mailing in Janaury
