Am I the only one who seems to be suffering a Tesco bonus points token drought (the ones they give you at the till) I did a big shop about three weeks ago and used up about 10 at once but since then nothing.

I've tried shopping on various days/various times and trying to buy products form all different departments, still nothing.

All I got today was a 50p coupon off Take a break or Chat :(

In case anyone is interested the extra 1500 and 1000 points for spending £70+ and the 500 for buying a book were added to our Clubcard a few days ago. I was beginning to think they would never arrive, or be shown in the November statement, but our Clubcard balance just jumped up from 14,800 to about 18,400 overnight :D Centre Parcs here we come!

BTW - my wife and I NEVER get tokens from Tesco - are these only given out in certain stores? We shop in most of Bicester's 5 stores, the two in Aylesbury, occasionally in Abingdon and Buckingham and I've never even seen them!

I've been quite lucky lately. I got 2 x £8 off a £40 spend vouchers and loads of extra points vouchers on stuff we do actually use. (Fruit/Veg/Dairy etc.)

Having said that, this is the first lot in ages.

I've also just found out the OH got a £8 off voucher too and forgot about it until it went out of date. He also lost out on 450 points for various bits. Aaarrgghh!
Herman - MP for all! :)
  • I have 3 clubcard accounts so did the book offer x 3 on the 3 seperate accounts, however, I paid with my Tesco credit card which is linked to the one clubcard. Also complicating matters the one book order was for a book coming out in February. Do you think I will still get the points on the 2 accounts and the one where I have ordered the book and I am awaiting delivery ?
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)

    Hi cullumpster.

this thread is part 2. Leylauk started a new thread upon the death of Beef in Gravy.

there aren't anymore offers around like BiG in store where you get such a good return in deals at the moment. But keep your eyes peeled and if you find one, let us know! I couldn't quite believe it when I found the BiG offer during my burger shop...I was getting a fantastic deal on the burgers, then the beef came along to top it!

My holiday saving/details/how long etc is all here.

NB: My £770 I had already amassed pre beef had been saved over the previous 4 mailings of CC vouchers.

Any q's, let me know and I (or someone on here!) will try to help out.

Did anyone from tesco ever ring you and ask how you got so many and did you really get all those vouchers in one statement mailing? Must have been a big envelope

    Thanks for that,
    I'll keep my eyes out,
I'd like to take the kids to florida but i think the younger girl (5) would not enjoy it as much as the lad (9) but i may be wrong  so i may leave it an extra year

Anyway, when i get the CC vouchers they expire in 1 year so do i change them immediatly to deals / airmiles OR keep the vouchers and keep on spending :D

I have 1647 to come to me this month and have another 1000 to add to that.
    I like tesco's :D :j:T

Nope. No phone calls at all. The CC vouchers did come recorded delivery though.

Funniest part to me was that, as I had to get Tesco travel insurance anyway (it's the only insurance that will insure your CC vouchers if you need to cancel), I got it free under Tesco refund and replace policy as the shelf price was cheaper than the till price.

The vouchers expire after 2 years, so keep this Nov mailing and keep on spending. Only change them into deals tokens when you want to use them within the next 6 months. If you reach the end of those 2 years on the CC vouchers, then swap them into Deals vouchers, which last 6 months more.

I think you can also swap deals vouchers back into CC points to be issued with the next mailing, hence making them last even longer!

Make sure you join all the clubs such as the healthy eating club, kids clubs, wine clubs as they send you extra point vouchers through the post.

D'ya know, I love Tesco too!
