The Morrisons £5-off coupons in my copies of The Sun have 099 as the penultimate 3 figures on the barcode, suggesting it will go through as 99p off, rather than £5.
Can anyone confirm that they will work as NSS coupons giving £5 off, without the amount having to be entered manually at the till?
Thanks0 -

Morrisons don't scan the barcodes in my local they always input the discount at the end of the transaction. I asked last week when using the £2 off coors light wht they didn't scan the coupons and was it particular to that store but told it was a Morrisons policy.0 -

Someone on another site said they scan as 99p in Tesco, but they went back to CS who then gave them the rest. But you can only do this if your local Tesco takes morrisons coupons, some don't, generally if they dont have any competition from them they wont take them. HTH
Agreed, some stores can be very negative about these.
But (to Raspberry Swirl) you don't need the banners to be up - it is part of the Tesco coupon policy to accept spend & save vouchers from all major supermarkets.
This was confirmed to stores last year as part of the coupon policy wording (you know, that daily update that none of the stores read until us in-the-know customers made them read it!). You may find some stores have the wording in a policy book behind the CS desk, but many won't!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
