Pram Shop "The Nappy Pin"
Just a warning for all you parents or parents to be out there in Scotland.
A small chain of Toymaster affiliated stores call the Nappy Pin are in Fife and Tayside.
DO NOT SHOP THERE
Why you ask?
We bought a pushchair in Oct last year for approx £200. :j
After 4 months the front wheel began to shudder terribly - so much it even made our son jump about in his harness.
So we took it BACK - they offered a full service and repair from the manufacturer. They advised 10 days.:D
We got it back 5 weeks later - apparently all fixed. I tested the pushchair in the shop and guess what?
Still faulty"!!!!!!"£%£$^£%^
We then asked for a full refund - they said NO - Anita Stewart the manageress (and co-owner fo the chain with her husband) said NO - they would only repair it at the manufacturer again.
She was rude - never once apologised. She even agreed it was still faulty but kept saying only the manufacturer could give a refund.
What a terrible chain of shops and her attitude in the Dundee branch of the Nappy Pin was awfull.
We eventually got a refund after TS and small claims court action.

Noted. Sound's like their "customer service" is nearly as bad as Toys-r-us both my friend & myself had terrible trouble with them and like yourself only got somewhere when trading standards got involved.Booo!!!0

Yeah had a similar problem i seem to remember being told " after 6 months its the manufacturers and you don't get the 1 year guaratnee" something stupid along the lines anyway.. bought a 3 wheeler and it kept shuddering, got a replacement for couple of weeks and the thing weighed a ton, got other buggy back and basically they sprayed wd40! pathetic! anyway advice would be buy from reputable places where customer feedback is good, i would avoid toys-r-us as they don't even have a customer service line, everything is dealt with in store...i'm going to go to the glasgow pram centre for baby no 2's buggy this year :TBaby number 2 due April 2010, were having a girl!!! :j0
