Is It Because I Do Not Take The 3 Month Offer Of £1 A Copy

I have phoned 3 times now for various different free magazine offers kindly listed on the forum (Marie Claire, FHM and another one I cannot even remember). I have always turned down the opportunity to take the next 3 copies at £1 each and the phone call has always ended politely but abruptly. In all cases I have failed to receive the free copy. Is it just bad luck or is it because I turn down the extra copies and I guess the sales staff are judged on that as that is the whole point of the promotion?

Must be your luck - i've recieved a magazine or two from these ones - they do take a while to come though. Not being too sharp at them or something or prehaps a odd address?

I never take the 3 copies for £1 but I have received Grow Your Own and Mens Health. Sometimes it takes a month or more as they wait for the new issue to come out to send you.

Same here, I never take the 3 copies for £1 but I have received Gardeners World, Mens Health & Olive. All took over a month to arrive but never got Marie Claire & that was ages ago!!

I received my copy of Olive quite quickly but i'm yet to receive Gardners World or Marie Clare. I just assumed they've probably had a huge response so it'll take a while. You might still get them yet heskpesk x

I have had two of the free copies (good housekeeping and Olive) and didnt take up there offers but the olive took almost 2 month to arrive, so may still be on the way to you.

I never take up the 3 for £1 offer and still get the free magazines.

ive notr rcvd any yet too, freebies are hit miss lots never send snything we should name and shame them

Yes it is but I do not want to give bank details and set up a direct debit. If you forget to cancel after the 3 free ones then it continues and you get billed. I would definately do it if they just required your debit card number!

i have yet to recieve any!

when the hard sell comes at the end i like many of us moneysaver do - say no!
