free reuseuable carrier bags at morrisons this week

just to let everybody know, morrisons are all this week from tomorrow(monday) giving away free reusable carrier bags, they are not as strong as the ones you pay for in there, as they are made out of a fabric of some sort, but these bags are certainly alot thicker than the normal free bags, and will certainly hold more, and last longer, hth Dave

yes i believe so, they have over a million of them to give away, so i am presuming that it will be in all stores

got no idea i am afraid, there may be at the start of the week, but if every store is like ours, where we whave a hole pallet of them, must be 10,000 bags, then with it being only a week to get rid of them, towards the end of the week, they maybe chucking them at you like confetti

I was given 1 in Morrisons in Shrewsbury today -

the assistant on the till said there were giving 1 away to each customer today - maybe they were being cautious in case they run out

The one I was given was strong plastic - but at least its thin enough to fold and put in my handbag - so I may reuse it - I have bought a few of the stronger ones but always forget to take them in with me - also the bigger stronger ones are heavy to lift into the boot when full !!

I was given one in Morrisons, Rogerstone today.
They are really thick, not sure how many they were giving each customer, I only popped in for some bits & bobs so only needed one, whether they give more out if you do a larger shop I couldnt really say.
