Need to get debt free and live a better life!!

Hi All :j

Well I suppose its a little late to be doing a new years resolution but i really want a fresh start.

I am in debt - not too badly but still its unneccessary debt. I am particularily rubbish with money.

Am starting to keep a moneyspending diary and have started to take my own lunch to work and travel by train to work as its cheaper than driving - still need the car for weekends tho.

Have signed up to pureprofile and was looking at quidco too.

Main incentive is I have booked my first holiday in years and i really want to be able to enjoy it.

Have been studying jewellery design and want to set up a website - just too skint and a bit scared just now.

Any help much appreciated

Can you post a SoA, so we can we where you can cut back on things, there's a sticky at the top of the page to help you do this

    HI Shazzer,

Welcome, im sure some experienced guys will be along soon to give "real" advice, on of the first things that everyone wants to see is a State of Affairs (SOA) which will let all the experts see where you can save money on necesities (like food) which might help you cut back.

If you are looking to make some money then the monthly make £10 a day thread is a great place to start as everyone there is so helpful.

    Good luck

    hi shazzer,
Definately join quidco it is brilliant- money for nothing, sounds too good to be true but it isn't !
Good luck with your website, I make wedding jewellery and have my own website it neednt be too expensive. Heart Internet are a good provider but don't touch 123-reg / pipex with a bargepole , absolute nightmare and the worst customer service I have ever experienced.
Good luck for your debt free journey
