Getting a Mortgage with Bad Credit History

Can anyone help. I am looking to buy a house for the first time in the summer. My problem is I have a poor credit rating from a few years ago which I think may hinder me. I have had some mortgage companies say they will lend me the money but I think I am having my trousers pulled down on the interest due to my history. I have £10k to put down as a deposit and will be looking to borrow £95k to get the type of house that I am looking at. I currently earn £24k per year before bonuses.

Not sure what you want to hear - you've told us nothing about your credit history or which mortgage companies have said they can help, etc.0

I have had 2 CCJ's. One in 2004 and one in 2005 (£320 and £2300). I still owe 1000 on the large one and that is all I now owe. The mortgage I was offered was at 8.99% and was done through a company called msquaredmortgages. They have not told me the name of the loan company0
