FREE first aid kit (Merged)

Yesterdays Guardian carried an ad from Pru Health. If you ring them for a life insurance quote then they will send you a free first aid kit with no obligation to buy. My call lasted about 3 minutes and they didnt really ask any personal health details, just DOB and address.

the number is 0800 092 6666 (free phone number as well ;) )
you need to quote the ref: GAU004.

I am looking forward to getting mine. Husband is very accident prone!

Update - I recieved mine yesterday: really nice quality.

  • If you phone Pruhealth on 0800 092 6666 and quote GAU004, and get them to give you a quote on health insurance, you get a free first aid kit. But this only applies to callers, not through the website, which is https://www.pruhealth.co.uk.

I've posted this on the insurance forum as well..

The thing that looks good to me is that if we read 2 articles a month from their website, are non-smokers, go online and create two healthy meal plans a year, have two free fitness assessments, and workout in the gym once a week, I may be able to get up to 75% off the following year's premium (that is by achieving gold status).

Also, I can get a discounted rate on the BUPA Wellness assessment, instead of £380, I pay £250 (for my husband, who needs it more). You also get discounts on joining their partner health and fitness clubs.

Their brochure states that if we achieve the platinum status, which is the next one up from gold, we can get 100% off the following year's premium, which sounds good, and the BUPA assessment only costs £25 as well!!!

I am wondering how easy it is to achieve this level...
  • Could you tell me where the quoted code was found, just in case they ask me when I call?
    Thanks.
    All credit cards paid off.

Take each day as it comes - Don't panic - I WILL be mortgage free 1 day.
  • you can also get a £5 M&S voucher in case you don't get the first aid kit.

Any description of the First aid kit anywhere?
  • The code GAU004 was advertised in the Guardian a few days ago, which gives you the free first aid kit. As CrazyChemist mentions, you can also get a £5 M&S voucher (actually, I would have preferred this) : ), if you get your quote online. Just saw that when I went on their website!!!
