Would you go to concert on your own to save cash?

Hi
I was wondering what anyone else would do?
I love Elton John and he is playing in my home town in a few weeks time!!!
My mum has given me £30 for my birthday towards a ticket but I have no one to go with. OH hates concerts as I have dragged him to Westlife a couple of times and it cost a fortune for him to sit there with a "happy" face LOL!!!!
My close friends are either short of cash(which i fully understand) or they just dont like concerts.
The question is would you go on your own?
I went to see Daniel Bedingfield a few years ago and it was good--- I got a last minute front row ticket. But not sure if I want to go on my own and look like Billy no mates:confused:
Thanks for any advice.
BTW the tickets(cheapest ones) are £44 each so you can see why i dont wanna pay for a cheery hubby!!!!!! xxxx

Go for it. You could always chat to the people sat next to you (might even get a few MSE converts as well!!)
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

I've been to a concert on my own and it's not been unpleasant. Just get a bit more bored than you would otherwise waiting for the artist/s to come onto stage. Go for it on your own.
