buy to let mortgage advise

I am currently trying to get a buy to let mortgage for a property next door to a property I currently own and rent out.
I am having difficulty as 2 lenders have now told me that they wont offer a buy to let mortgage to me as I also own and rest out the property next door.
I get the impression this is due to the risk that I will knock through the propereties?
I have no intentions of modifying either property in any way and wondered if anyone has had similar problems or if you know of any lenders who I should be able to get a mortgage off?

There are s few lenders that may look into this for you - but it will depend on the whole scenario and your circumstances as to whether you will be eligibleI am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Lenders don't really advertise such policies. Get yourself a decent broker. They will know which lenders will work in this, and other situations. I'm not a broker, but an investor like yourself, and I have 4 brokers. Given a situation like yours, I'd ask them all to look into it, and see who comes up with the best answer.0
