Stupidity? Getting a loan, buying shares, selling when high

Hi
Well it sounds like a high risk stratergey to me, but if you are going to do it then I would suggest going down the route of either
Spread Betting,
Contracts For Diffrence, or Options, using any of these will typically mean that you only need about 10% to 20% of the value of the shares.
I would offer a word of caution that using any of the above methods is not without risk as you are gearing your Profits but also your losses if things do not go your way, but then you are doing a similair thing if you borrow the money to buy the shares.
A few years ago I used to play the stock market using Contracts for Difference I had around 10k in the pot, and my best ever day I made 30k but the problem was I lost it again over the next few months, after 2 years I still had about 10k in the pot so I gave it up, as I could not make it pay in the long run.
If the information you have is not insider trading then any feel good factor regarding this information is most likely all ready in the share price so I woul beware, those city traders might eat you up and spite you out after they have relieved you of your cash.0
