dmp amount?

I'm doing token payments at the mo with cccs, with a view to increasing my disposable £ to get on a dmp. When I first spoke to the cccs I had none, hence £1 token payments, now have around £78, and increasing. Can anyone tell me what the disposable £ amount is before starting a dmp with cccs? £100? £200?
Thanks x

Don't know we have about £300 at present but CCCs keep telling us we don't and that we can't afford to live let alone have a DMP. Maybe you could phone them in the morning.Barclaycard 3800

Thanks hun.
Our budget is the lowest CCCS allows - which they say theyd like to increase but if I can manage us all on it then I'd rather use my challenges etc for extra and commit anything else as disposable to get onto dmp and reduce the 30,000 calls and letters! We kinda feel like we are in limbo at the mo, waiting for something to happen. The beggar is - with the charges on everything whilst we're paying token payments, we are a fair bit more in debt than we were before the lightbulb moment lol! Oh well - I'll ring them tomorrow and see where I'm at!

I'm on my own and have a disposable income of £244 which CCCS accepted me for a DMP spread between 7 creditors. I didn't ask what the minimum was but Payplan were happy to accept me for that too.

Don't know about CCCs, but with Payplan, they told me that they could consider setting up a DMP with anything over £100 surplus after priority payments.LBM : March 2008

well we had £60 to put into a DMP but Payplan and the CCCS would not help us as they didn't agree with our figures -e.g. stating we had to buget £32 a month for haircuts! - they advised us to offer token payments of £1.
So we ended up in a DMP with Myvesta who accepted an offer of £60 per month with a fee of £25 a month for the privilige whereas the others would have been free - but such in life
Our DMP was accepted by all our creditors and has been running for over a year now with no trouble.
I do know that a lot of people self administer their DMP's but they are braver than me!!

Hi
Our DMP payment is 193 for just under 20k of debt, I think it will depend on the amount of debt in relation to the amount you will be paying, if you dont owe that much then it wont be a big payment......

Thanks all. Ahh... it may be dependant on our debts. They were £25k before token payment start and now I don't know - some charge us £16 a month, some £12, one £25 (!) for not meting their minimum, until I am in a dmp. With the extra on top - I've stopped counting for now! I'll round the figures up again when I review the situation again with the cccs.
I guess my best bet is to continue to increase my income as fast as possible then present it all to the cccs when we review and see what they. Its quite disheartening paying £1 off each but at least we're not living on credit anymore! It would be nice to get onto dmp and see that there is a light at the end somewhere, however far off it is!
