Hi, sorry if already posted but I did a search and couldn't find an answer.
I signed up to magazine (through quidco/cashbackkings) and signed up for the 6 free issues of "The Week" - however, the fifth one is due next week and I need to work out how to cancel the subscription before i begin getting charged £13 every 3 weeks...
Can anybody point me in the right direction?

I think you will be able to cancel by phoning number shown here - http://www.the.week.magazine.co.uk/about.php?jlnk=lsl2000
If you have your reference number, you can cancel on-line here - http://www.subsinfo.co.uk0 -
Or just contact your bank and cancel it from that end. I never phone the company.0

I use online banking and just cancel the direct debit after the initial amount has been taken.0

Yes, you can do it that way. Personally, I prefer to cancel with the actual company. It helps avoid those "Your bank has declined our Direct Debit request....." letters and so on.0

Yep..so do I...BUT in this instance he/she has had the 6 issues FREE, so there was nothing showing up in direct debits and nothing to cancel!!!!...I did this a while back and forgot to cancel and ended up paying for a further few months!
He/she will need to go to the bank to cancel. This post was created in an area that may contain nuts!0 -
I always just cancel the direct debit. Never had any problems and have been doing this for years.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
