As the title says, i've got a rather nice sticky patch on my living room carpet which was caused by a boiled sweet which must've rolled under the sofa (I only found it when I moved the furniture recently). As this is a rental property, and i'm moving out soon, I really need to find a way of getting rid of it as I don't want have my deposit eaten up. Any ideas??

either that or try Stardrops pre-mixed solution (available in all good supermarkets) mixed with warm water.
Normally dissolves things like that.;)I am not a complete idiot - some parts are missing;)0 -
Stardrops can discolour carpets so be very careful!!!
There is a sticky stuff remover, can get in Asda or out of Kleeneze, as usual colour test an area first. One day I might be more organised...........
