OMG, the price of a pot noodle!!!

I haven't bought 1 for about 4 years but my son asked me to get him some to take to work.
I went into my local co op yesterday & they were on offer (a third off) at 63p which i didn't think was cheap until i went into Netto today, they are 95p each & they aren't even the king size ones!!

  • The major supermarkets do their own brand of pot noodle and similar pasta and mash based snacks. They are much cheaper. Alternatively buy a packet of value/smart price instant noodles for 8p. These cook just by adding hot water and have a flavour sachet. Could always spice it up with sweet chilli sauce or soy sauce or herbs/spices.

Sorry. I don't know whether they were king sized or not

Just been to Morrisons, they are 3 for £2 so still not that cheap, however their own brand ones are only 51p so I got a couple of those to try :D

  • Netto have some Blue Dragon (?) ones in at the moment for 35p and they come in a pot.

Which ever ones you get you are going to be loaded up on MSG for the rest of the day though!
