Good Quality Butcher in Enfield

Hi,

I have just begun my maternity leave and would like to get my grocery shopping and budget in order. I used to order meat through a box scheme but have found that I dont like not being able to actually see the meat before buying and was wondering if anyone knew of a good quality butcher (traditionally reared would be great! - organic even better) in or around Enfield?

Also any greengrocers that you can recommend in the area too would be great.

I have looked at the local market they have in Enfield town but have been dissappointed with the variety. Also they only do veg and no meat or cheese or fish

hi not sure where you are in enfield but there is butchers on baker street. Also have never been but there is a farmers market every sunday in palmers green,have been to the one in ally pally which is fab. Good luck with baby !

There's a fab butchers in Edmonton Green that we love. Very old fashioned guy. He makes his own sausages etc and will happily carve up a whole lamb for you etc. If you're interested in giving him a go it's the one nearly opposite the Tescos in the Green, near to the Sense charity shop. I saw that as there are a few there, but this is the one we've always found fab
