Double airbeds in Asda - £10 each or 2 for £15. Not sure when the offer ends.

    hiya,

i do not reccomend aerobeds at all, they are no good, we spent a fortune on the ones from argos and had to return all of them, ,

the actual pump which is built in is far too heavy for the bed and causes it to split, you have to lie very still on these beds or it will rip and go flat stright away,
yes they come with puncture stickers but these are tiny stickers which have no effect at all,

dont reccomend them, waste of money, in the end we got a couple of floding beds, comes with a sprund very comfy mattress and wooden slats.

    hope this helps,

I'm sorry but I don't agree with you. I think that aerobeds are great!

Forgot to say that there was an offer on here recently to buy direct from the manufacturer. I'm sure that a search will bring something up. I think I got mine at about 40%off.

ohh thats interesting minimoneysaver.. you've clearly had good experiences with aerobeds... yes I saw that offer for 40% off but it appears to of expired as I tried it earlier today.... guess the hunt for deals on aerobeds is still on.. but I only have until Sat night next to buy one otherwise i am on a hard floor... which I am way toooooo old for .....lol
  • I bought an aero bed from Argos - a piece of ****. They refused to give me a refund even though my friend ended up on the floor in the morning & the replacement they gave me had no pump which was included! My sister also bought an aerobed from Argos which broke.

We have an intex one which guests seem to have no problems with - it's a raised one with it's own pump. You can buy them online, just google them - or there are some for sale here:

they have more expensive versions on this site too.

    hiya,

i think the reason the manufactuer had the 40% offer on is because they know what they are like, they also offer 3 year gaurentee on the ones we got but argos wernt happy about that,

i think those intex ones that js_other_half is on about is one which we had years ago and was brill although we had one that had a seperate pump it was a nightmare getting sorted thats why we thought the aerobeds would be so much better with the built in pump but the design is terrible.

i cant reccomend another one apart from getting fold away beds, which we have now but now where do we put all the bedding?!! hhhmm lol!
