Payplan are right, if you are now paying the minimum then there's nothing they can do as you're now back under your creditor's contract. So they are allowed to stick their interest/charges back on as you agreed to them.

It's why I'm always skeptical of increasing DMP payments too much.

Yeah I guess you are right....how annoying, does this mean that becuase all my creditors are now getting paid more than the minimum I no longer need to be on a DMP?
In Jan 2007 I had a debt of £27,896.00
In October 2011 I paid it off and owned £0.00 - Kinda proud of this!:T

PLEASe ring the NDL or CCCS before you do anything. Unless you have enough money in your normal bubget to pay all the creditors the full whack with interest you need some sort of arrangment, so do not terminate your DMP.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

Thank you RAS, Yes I was thinking about that if they all put thier interest back my debt free date will never arrive and no, I dont have enough money in the budget to cope with that. I wouldnt terminate the DMP.

Its sad though I felt I finally found a balance between paying debts and living some sort of life. Lets hope they are all as stupid and slow as there were in the start and take ages to realise they are getting more.

    good luck sweetie.

call CCCS ASAP as they sometimes get busy and you may have to wait for an appointment with them...

Afraid so, it means you need to tackle it yourself, it's ridiculous but it's the general policy :(

Definitely agree with contacting the CCCS too and re-jig your budget, if that means making a couple of amounts a bit higher or increasing your emergency fund a little then that's probably the best way
