Provident, council tax onto credit reports....

Just read a piece in The Times about doorstep loans (Provident type) going onto credit reports from next month, also credit-card behaviour patterns, utility payments, council tax & local authority rent records may be going on in next 12 months...

    Interesting. :)

    The key question would be, aside from lenders using this type of information (when adverse) to reject credit applications, will the reverse also be true? Will the fact that you have an exemplary payment record when it comes to rent, CT and utility bills aide your credit applications?
