The daft thing is all our payments are up to date, I dont know how we did it for so long. My husband works for social services and is called out all times of the day and also works 9-4 which has stopped me getting work outside the house.

My husband is in a band and gigs most weekends so that money has been helping out.

It's so stupid to get in this mess and I'm so angry at myself

If you work, then the first £5,000 is tax and NI free. To bring the same amount of net income into the household, your OH has to earn £8,000.

It makes more sense for you to work a bit than for him to work extra.

Think that is going to have to be the solution! I used to be a travel agent and foreign exchange cashier, it seems so long ago now though!

I'm just off to surestart to try and get funding for my daughter to go to playgroup for 4 mornings a week, she starts nursery 5 mornings a week in September and my son is fulltime now so hopefully there is something out there, will check jobcentre website tonight.

Doing a car boot on Sunday and I will be ebaying all week I think, my house will probably rise a couple of inches once I get rid of all our stuff!

Don't feel stupid or angry at yourself you haven't committed a crime or done anything ,that most of us haven't done already. I personally prefer cccs than payplan, cccs have always been friendly and more realistic in what you will need to live on..
Do a SOA to find out surplus you have. Agree with cccs/other, payment per week but Do include all debts as any undeclared debts will impact on what you pay to cccs in the long run. Good luck and get ready for a new debt free life.:j
