Philips SA6085 8GB MP3 Player with Tuner Half Price

Options
This player has been reduced from £99.99 to £49.99. I tried hard to get some of the other bargain Philips that Argos had on offer but was never lucky enough/fast enough to get one. I bought this for my son for his birthday and it is excellent quality. Picture and sound quality are really good and it is a great size, very slim and fits in a pocket very easily. Only thing about it is that it does not come with a charger, it is charged using the usb port on the computer but this doesn't really cause a problem.

I managed to grab one of these too...its brilliant!! However mines does go back to the start once its been switched off  It takes about 5 mins to load up as well....but dunno if this is normal?? I transferred ALL my music/videos/pictures from my PC onto it and still have space left! Quality is excellent too even from pics and vids.

My hubby now wants one as well
  • Hello!
I'm looking for a very good FM-reciever included in the MP3... Is this one working very good? Can you record from the radio? Can you listen to the radio also without the headphones? And finally, are the headphones comfortable?
    Thank you!

I would not buy a Phillips product again. My son has had 3 go gear 60hdd MP3 players. He did not have 3 because they were good, but becasue they broke down. The 3rd time, two weeks after the gaurantee expired. Phillips wanted £60 to look at it. Not worth the bother, forums were full of how unreliable they were. I hope your lasts forever.

But for anyone thinking about phillips, dont touch them.
