I've been looking round for a teddy bear to buy as a present,but was shocked to see the prices of even a small one.
Surely it would be easy to pick up a cheap teddy-apparently not-£20 upwards!!!!!
Would be grateful if anyone could direct me to cheapish teddys.

I'm a Teddy addict - I have paid prices that I would rather not mention for artist bears.

Is this bear for a new baby or a youngster?

You may be surprised - but I recommend you look on Hamley's site. They have some lovely bears - especially for the little ones. Many under £20!!!

I always buy a Hamleys bear for newborn babies - they are soooooo soft and come beautifully wrapped too.

My daughter is five and still clings to a pink teddy from Woolworths. It's been washed so many times it hasn't got any stuffing in its neck but she loves it. For her 5th birthday we bought dolls clothes which Teddy now wears!
