As far as I'm aware the insurance company will decide what is a 'like for like' match and not you.

This happened with my old laptop and the only model they could get to compare had no graphics card (mine's a gaming laptop!)

I had to do my own research and argue my case. Therefore, it may be worth gathering ideas from peopl on here (like your doing), although a washing machine is a more straight forward piece of kit than a computer, and you may not get a choice!

    Life's too short.........
  • We bought the W3985WPS in February because it had an 1800 spin speed and a 10 year guarantee. The Miele website has a page with promotions page at http://www.miele.co.uk/Promotions/Default.aspx and it is still there. We got it from Buyers and Sellers for £1154.00 (cheapest price we could find at the time inc. delivery).

Do a Google search for the number of the machine you want and Kelkoo or Twenga will give you the best deal.
