Hi Lucy
Yours is a question asked more and more frequently on these boards BUT if there was a quick and easy way of making money, everyone would be doing it. You say you've read a LOT of posts – surely then there was something that appealed to you?!
Below a summary of some of the things I’ve gleaned from these boards.
SIMPLE WAYS TO UP YOUR INCOME
First off, and it may sound a little stupid, do the budget planner. This will show you where the money you have is going, and you may be better of just by making a few small changes. http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/Budget-planning
Collect £2 coins. Not strictly boosting your income, but in a couple of years I have collected around £600 (of my own money!) just by putting every £2 coin I get into a piggy bank. Obviously, further money could be made by banking them in a high interest savings account and reaping the rewards.
If possible, and also where warranted, ask for a payrise! If you can put together a good case why you should have one, you may just persuade your boss. If it doesn’t work, it hasn’t cost you anything to try.
Sell your stuff on eBay. DVDs, books and stuff you no longer use – there’s a buyer for almost everything out there! Last year, someone sold an imaginary friend for around £1,000 (really!) but this idea has been done to death and all the ‘copies’ failed to sell. But come up with a unique idea and you could be quids in.
Exploit cashback. Sign up to Quidco and always check whether any merchant you want to use is on there. You can exploit savings further by paying with a cashback credit card. Notes: DON’T buy through Quidco just to get cashback. If the product is cheaper elsewhere than you haven’t saved anything. ALWAYS pay off cashback credit cards in full each month. http://www.quidco.com
Sell your stories/photos/letters to magazines. Many magazines, especially women’s interest ones (Chat, Best, Bella etc) will pay for your stories. If you read any of these magazines, you'll have some idea of the kind of stories they like.
Enter competitions. Most are NPN (no purchase necessary) and you have nothing to lose. If you win, you can keep or sell the prize. See the Competitions Board. http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=72
Sell your skills. If you’re a keen photographer or you can make pretty handmade cards or jewellery, or can knit baby clothes, why not try selling them? A search on these forums brings up posts from other users who have done/are doing the same thing. Again you have nothing to lose – if you enjoy doing the activity, making money would just be the icing on the cake.
In addition to these, there are LOTS more ideas available on boosting your income. Most importantly of all, if you haven't already done so, READ the link below! A whole host of income-boosting ideas in one place!

Hope that helps

For smaller amounts of money ( £100 - £200 ) a month I'd reccomend Betterware. Basically deliver catalogues, collect them, some with orders and then deliver the orders for a 20% commision. No investment needed and as long as your local area is not covered can do the streets right by your home.
For a bigger income with potential to replace a full time salary, but can be worked around a current job, then Kleeneze. Similar to above but with added commision made by building a team. Does however require small investment.
You don't mention what kind of amount of time you have available?0
