I wouldn't touch a Belkin router with a barge-pole no matter how cheap it was. I've had constant problems in the past - routers overheating everyday, buggy firmware, connection problems.
Do yourself a favor and spend a bit more on a better brand - i.e Netgear or Linksys.0 -
Ive got a model similar looking to this one, not sure if they're the same however. Been working flawlessly for over a year now. Just need to know how set them up i suppose.0

I agree with Helix. Every few hours it was overheating and had to be switched off. It gave up after a while. No, spend a few more pounds and invest in a good one. Netgear as said.

It was set up correctly as confirmed by the people in their technical support centre. Look on the internet and you will find lots of complaints about Belkin routers, you must have been lucky.0 -
I was running one of these for 5 years, didn't encounter a single problemIve got a model similar looking to this one, not sure if they're the same however. Been working flawlessly for over a year now. Just need to know how set them up i suppose.
When I bought it, it was more expensive than the equivalent Netgear or Linksys, so I would agree you get what you pay for

Or maybe you were unlucky, I bought my first Belkin router about 5 years ago ,contacted them about 2 years ago for a problem with the PSU and they sent me a brand new (current model)router thanks to the LIFETIME WARRANTY, haven't had any problems since.
