Has anyone bought Wharfedale USB501 CD/USB/MP3 Micro System.

I have reserved on of these http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5136223/Trail/C%24cip%3D1500011405.Sound%2Band%2Bvision%3EC%24cip%3D1500012061.Clearance%2Bsound%2Band%2Bvision.htm
for my daughter, seems like quite a good buy. Has anyone bought one of these? And if so could you confirm that it has a cassette player, the description says that it has but I cant see where it is and she really enjoys listening to her story cassettes.
Thanks

It says 'single cassette' so you should be ok,and it's not excluded from the 30 day return policy if it's unsuitable.

I've been looking at this as a potential purchase as well so any feedback would be appreciated!

I haven't got one sorry, but I'd bet money on the 'middle' bit with the blue display hinging out so the cassette can slot in behind - either that or the 'bottom' bit slides out (I doubt it), but either way it says it's got a cassette deck, so you should be ok.

Looks like a decent bit of kit for the money - I doubt many got sold at full price though!

    ;)

I'm 99% sure this is the unit I got my dh for Christmas. If so then then it definitely has a cassette, (though I too had initial doubts as it's hard to see from the picture). It's an excellent system, does pretty much everything you could possibly want, and excellent sound for the price (I looked around and couldn't find anything of similar quality/build for same price)

Thanks for the info. It has indeed got a tape deck hidden behind the display and the the buttons are hidden under a flap at the top. Have yet to set it up but my daughter is thrilled with it.
