Advice on PPI reclaim please

I keep hearing about how we should reclaim charges back and wondered if I would be able to do so.

I took out a loan with NatWest about 6 years ago and due to the large amount of the loan I was told I had to have their insurance for it. Is this actually the case? Had it been mis-sold to me?

Unfortunately I don't have any of the paperwork for it anymore, but understand I should be able to get hold of it.

Is it going to be worth me trying to claim the charges back?

Thank you in advance.

Have a read of the sticky and Martins guide. You may have a case for reclaiming if you were told that you had to have it. A lot will depend on the paperwork and evidence that you have.
