Hi there all, im back~! Ive been off the board a while after my car crash and ive had a teribble two weeks spending. I had retail therapy and got my hair cut and little shopping, but i worked wed night to pay for that. so not all bad, tried my best to do something about that splurge....
just it has been a diffuclt time, lots of bits needed to get. today the car is in the garage and by 5pm i should have it back and know the damage to my finances!
But in all im a bit demotivated, fed up and damm right cant be asked, each month i have nearly cleared the debt (forgeting the student loan as payments are coming out my wages)....i just get another set back, if it hadnt been for the car crash id be able to start saving this month and be so much happier.
Im stuck for ideas, only thing i can think of is the making my own dinners and lunches up for work... going to do that today
Anyone feeling the same? Just urgggh horrbile weekend, ive 3 assignments need to get done by tuesday. its a nightmare!

Hiya tallie,
We all have these feelings, and get demotivated, but persevere and you'll get back on track, the thing is not to let it all ge you down, just think you'll be able to look back one day and smile at the journey you've taken. HTH
((((HUGS)))) I'd put the smiley one on but it looks pervy to me lol, take care

Hi!!
just remember to try and stay positive (I know this is easier said than done sometimes) you are ok, your car can be repaired.
Surely the cost will be claimed back on insurance? Which will come through eventually.
And keep posting!! It's easier to fall off the wagon when your not here, been there myself.
Oh and keep smiling!!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
i know how you feel, my car broke down a couple of days ago and the money i have spent fixing it could of payed off one of my debts. But look how far you have come! keep budgeting and living as cheaply as possible and you will soon have payed it off and be able to build up a nice savings account.Proud to be Dealing with my Debts

Hi Tallie :hello:
Sorry to hear you are fed up. I kind of know how you feel. Feeling very down and blue today, cant be arsed at work, and just want to go home and hide under the duvet.
Just when i think i sort my finances, i get an invoice or a bill that is unexpected (last week was one from the council for works they did to my balcony for £3.5K, and the other day was a bill from gas saying i had underpaid and now owe them over £150 ) just seems i cant win.
Weather is rubbish as well which never helps! Im resisting spending money at the mo, but its saturday tomorrow and need to go food shopping
Anyhoo, just wnated to say you're not alone, but im sure it will get better.Debt: just my mortgage0 -
Tallie, we have all had times when dealing with the debts is harder than other times and our efforts go out the window as we spend more money! Just keep your chin up, keep the budget going and it will all be worth it in the end. Good luck, LornaThanks for the advice Martin! :money:Member no. 920 - Proud to be dealing with our debts0

Hey everyone, just read your posts and they really have cheered me up. Ive had the worst weeks but i am going to do what you say, keep at it, the car was so cheap in the end. i hadnt done the damage i thought and it only cost 108 pounds! can you beleive it! a nice new wheel, they saved the alloy and put it back on that saved me 100 pounds at least. and they put the spare wheel back. I then went to asda got a pizza for 2.00 and loo rool and the foil trays dead cheap there for my own dinners. So i spent this eve making up spag bol and sheperds pies for the next 2 weeks in the freezer.
Tomo is going to be only a no spend day!! i am just going to use up my coppers toget some cola from the shop. im staying up late to get my reading done for uni. and re do that budget now things are looking up!
Thanks again xDebt for Tallie - JUNE 2009NATWEST LOAN......5000.00CREDIT CARDS........5000.00STUDENT LOAN.......7500.00TESCO CARD..........1000.000 -
Well done Tallie. It can be really hard when you are nearly at the end of something. I've nearly paid off my credit card and should do hopefully in 2 weeks---but i'm finding it hard to stay motivated too.
You have done brilliantly to pay off so much. Just think aboout all the lovely savings you'll have. You'll be able to save up for stuff and got on holidays and it'll be fab!
Good luck, you can do it!
