Friday 16/05/2008. What small dfw things will you do today???

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Hello to all the regulars and any new posters! :hello::wave::dance:

Today I:
- checked for MS jobs
- updated my sig with latest quidco info
- will check online banking
- will try again to do pet insurance through quidco
- tried to do piggy click but no free points today
- brought lunch in from home
- will list at least one thing on eBay

Will add more as I think of them later...

Now it's time to go and make a free :coffee:

Tallie, just read your post, was wondering where you were, hope your feeling much better now. Sounds like you need a prescription requiring you to make regular posts on here for the forseeable future. We all have a little splurge, its recognising it and moving on from it and learning from it.

    Today:
    • Checked ebay - will post out the 3 items that finished, pay my account and never use them again. I am so angry that they have messed up my feedback, I have gone from 100% to 98.1% because of the way they now calculate it! Ive got all pos and 1 retaliatory neutral
    • Gutted 2 rooms and put them back together all sparkly
    • Did a mystery shop and OH and I had a lovely meal out
    • Checked for more mystery shops - none
    Left to do:
    • Submit mystery shop report
    • Check banking when their website sorts itself out
    • Do PB ct and comps
    • Get my PC up and running, currently using OH pc
    • Print packing slips and pack ebay parcels to post in the morning
    • Gut and put back together 1 last room
    • Might get chance to finally do my food shop and take clothes back, and get DS his new shoes
Think thats it - better not stop long!
