I wonder if Martin has seen this link and what he thought about it?

I've been a "tart" for quite some time now, although I have just paid off most of my cards. But I wondered if my credit rating would now be looking poor instead of favourable as I last thought?

My mantra is simple: If I don't help myself first, I shouldn't expect it from others. If I don't like something, I will change it. If I can't change it, I will learn to deal with it.
I accept responsibility for my own actions and my own situation. A sense of entitlement is not healthy and will only lead to consistent disappointment.

i think that's a bit of scaremongering on that site ...just to keep us in debt and not being savvy! lol
anyway, i thought that the footprint was there for only 6 months...not a year. as for the fraud risk...i think the companies are more afraid of you paying off your card within the interest free period than they are of the fraud risk...and for that reason you may be declined for credit.
it's all a plot to try and stop our consumer revenge!! : )0 -

I'm coming to that conclusion too....the joy of the marketplace!!For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070
