Statutory Demand

Hello all,
I'm in need of some advice please, I have received a statutory demand for a debt from a solicitor. I Wrote to them and offered a set amount per month of £750.00 untill debt cleared total being £5,800. They said their clients would not accept this and required the full amount by a certain date or they would be issuing a bankcruptcy petition with out further reference. Any advice on what to do would be greatly appreciated because this is making me bad and i cannot sleep at night. x

Is this your only outstanding business creditor or are there more?
What I'm getting at is that you may need to see someone quickly if the business is technically insolvent. For what I've done...I start again...And whatever pain may come ...Today this ends... I'm forgiving what I've done -AF since June 20070 -
This is not for a debt to Wolseley is it?
Have you actually received a Statutory Demand, or is it just a threat to issue one?
Should look something like:
Statutory Demand under section 268(1)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986. Debt for Liquidated Sum Payable Immediately England & Wales
