No Interview

Has anyone else been told by the OR that they do not require an interview? Myself and my wife were both declared bankrupt on tuesday, this morning we received a couple of forms to sign from the OR and at the end it said after reading our SOA they do not require to interview us......is this normal???
Thanks in advance

If your case is sufficiently simple and/or your forms contained all the info the OR needs for now, then it's not that unusual. :)

There seem to be more of them now as the OR's get snowed under due to the level of bc.Give yourself a pat on the back:D that you are a "simple" case:rotfl:

  • It means the cause of your insolvency is sufficiently explained in the S of A, that the OR does not need to ask you any questions about assets or debts, that they can complete the administration of your bankruptcy without an interview. Of course you can call them at any time with questions, and they retain the right to ask you for interview later. So yes normal and it means you did a good job of completing the S of A so well done!!

    HI

I didn't have to have an interview, we had a home telephone call which lasted 30 mins and that was it.

Look out for early discharge papers in about 6 months time!!!

I wouldnt worry about it Sunk (easier said I know) the OR will only contact you if they need to so as long as you've not been hiding funds or have assets stashed somewhere you've not told them about you'll be fine....as I replied in your post your case looks simple & straightfoward with a reason for your insolvency if they need to call you they will
