Frozen Pension

Hi
Can anyone give me an answer to this question?

My employer has decided to change the Company Pension scheme, and has therefore frozen my contributions to the existing scheme as at 31st December, 2007, and started a new Pension scheme from 1st January 2008.

As my former pension is frozen, and I am over 50, can I take the frozen pension now?

Thanks

I forgot to add that I am not leaving the Company.

In theory yes, if the scdhem allows it.But it might not be a good thing to do.You would need to find out the terms - in particular the reduction for going early, which is often high and/orthe size of the transfer value.
    Trying to keep it simple...;)

I think it depends what the scheme rules are - would suggest contacting the scheme administrator
