Hi, I am currently caring for my terminally ill son and claiming carers allowance, does this £120.00 affect me and will I get anything back? Thanks

Your basic allowance will go up by £600.
I'm not sure how any benefits/allowances will be affected. It will be worth posting the question on the tax board on MSE.
