McDonalds giving away breakfast leftovers!

not ure if this counts- but was in a local McD yesterday, just before the 10.30 swichover- werent doing 'proper' yet, but still plenty brekkie sruff.. so went for a 'bacon' burger (sorry, mcmuffin) with juice abd a rather horrid fried thing..

while muching down, and browsing through the papers, one of the staf came round with a TRAY of left over mcmuffins etc (still hot, ok to eat), that hadnt sold, offering them to whoever was there.

scenes of the movie 'Falling Down' spring to mind!

For the record, that store is generous. If we have leftovers we usually eat them or sell them xD

When I worked there whatever wasn't sold was binned. We were not allowed to even eat it ourselves.

Try working for Gap Buster Mystery Shoppers...get plenty of free McDonalds then.....I can`t face any more for a while.Supersize me!!

When I worked in the Snappy Cafe in our local swimming pool, I usually always gave the food away free when I was about to close. I think it is very wasteful to throw it in the bin. It always made some family very happy to get a plate load of chips, especially the kids. :j Don't think the management would have been very happy though!:rotfl:

I've been warned off naming what companies deal with what clients... it is in breach of your ms t&c's, you may want to change it. I agree with you though - its not worth the payment to have to eat them.
