Hi there I have an endowment of 17 years and its done terribly over the years. I have been through all the channels for compo to no affect so i have come to the decision of whether i should surrender the the policy as the stock market is on a high and pay off my mortgage or should i keep what seems to me throwing money away on £100 p/m interest payments to the bank and the £90p/m for the endowment for the next 8years .Help!!

we are in the same position in that we bought at beg of 1988 & now our policy is worth half of the amount needed - can't go down the compo route as missed the cut off date & advisor high tailed it years ago - have considered selling or making it paid up, but i've been stalling because its Standard Life & the DM is due to happen soon0
