Cheap afternoon tea

The Times had an article on the weekend to get afternoon tea for 8p at Langham Hotels. "Langham Hotels has announced plans to celebrate that most English rituals - afternoont ea - by offering it at 1865 prices for one day only. Visitors and residents at any Langham property on June 10 (the hotel chain's birthday) will be able to take afternoon tea for the original price, one shilling and sixpence - 8p"Only seems to be in London. I called up and they are fully booked. However they are doing afternoon tea for £18.65 for 2 people between 9-15 June. Still a good deal for a 5 star hotel.

How did you find out about the special offer of £18.65? Did you just call them up and ask for special offers? Thanks.

Yep, I called them up and they told me that the 8p offer was fully booked but you could book tea for two for £18.65 instead
