Long printer cable

My printer cable is standard length and is too short to reach to my pc, does anyone know if you can buy long ones and even ones with a double USB end so i can plug it into 2 computers?

The maximum USB cable length is 3m for low speed devices and 5m for high speed devices (not sure whether a printer would be low or high speed).
If you have a wireless LAN, you can get a wireless/USB print server, and add the printer to the wireless network. Otherwise you may be able to get longer USB cables. See here for USB cabling information:

Oh, and you wouldn't be able to plug the two computers into one printer directly. You could use a switch box to select which PC the printer is connected to, or have the printer connected to one PC and share the printer over the network so you can print from both PCs (although the PC attached to the printer would have to be turned on in order to print from the other PC). Alternatively, if you got a print server, you could print from both PCs easily.
Hope this helps...0
