Boots Soft Toy Collection for GOSH - Please read!!

Hi everyone,

First of all thanks to everyone for all the great money saving tips - now here's a chance to give something back!

As I've already posted in another forum, I'm planning to collect as many soft toy vouchers as possible and use them to buy tons of soft toys which will then be donated to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.

Here's where I need your help!

If you have any tokens lying around which you don't need then please can you send them to me! If you PM me I'll give you my address and I'll happily refund any postage costs via Paypal or send you an SAE to send them to me in.

I'll take the teddies down there at the end of November when the promotion ends and I'll post a pic on here to let everyone see how well we did.

Hey everyone,

3 things:  Firstly I wanted to say a huge thanks to everyone who has donated and also everyone who has PMed me with messages of encouragement (including the people that keep telling me I should get the reward for post of the month, although I'm sure there's more deserving people on here)

Secondly, I've finally managed to upload a pic of the teddies we've collected so far!  The pic's hosted HERE and as you can see in the pic, the box (which measures 2 ft by 1.5 ft by 1 ft) is full to the brim!!

Thirdly, a few people have asked me why we decided to do this collection.  Well my partner and I had a baby girl 5 months ago (Kaci) and while we were collecting our teddies one day from boots someone instore mentioned that any tokens left behind were being collected by the store and would be donated to local charities.  This made us think how great it'd be if we all clubbed together (and by the looks of it a lot of people on here love boots!!) and collected for some of the kids who would really appreciate receiving these teddies this christmas!

And now, only 4 weeks later we've got 80 teddies with about 8 or 9 more envelopes arriving every day!!

Anyway, as I said before, thanks to everyone who has helped and this website has been so helpful to us all that it's great to be giving something back as a kind of thank-you.

Well done, it's great that so many people have donated spare tokens which probably would have been thrown away. What a great site this is.
