For an extra 1.8 cents to the pound hell im running down the road in my dressing gown as we speak, this is assuming that the post office/travelex etc etc pass on the extra few cents and also assuming that they dont update their prices at the end of the day as opposed to constantly updating.


just a thought, and for those that are interested since friday travelex has only shown an increase of .4 of a cent since friday.

Personaly not knowing anything about the money markets I would advise people to buy regardless hell its not gonna jump up huge amount in the next few days/weeks, the key is to buy them and never look at the rates again.

by the way bear, with friday trading largely around 1.9575 and today trading just over 1.96....

...a 0.4 of a cent rise is not a million miles away from tracking the real markets

Sorry was'nt having a pop, if it came across that way.

Just trying to make people think that for the sake of a cent or two is it really worth the hassle, assuming they arent taking millions of dollars abroad then of course it would be worth it.

i fully realise that for the sake of a bit of holiday cash, it probably isn't worth it, but some people do, so just trying to help a wee bit!
