Big Thanks - Got Compensation For Mis-sold Endowment

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU. I followed the link to a web site that provided letters for you to send to the company that sold you your endowment to see if you were eligible for compensation.
I duly sent off my letter. I responded to an email they sent to me and shortly after that I received an offer of just over £2,000 compensation. They are even offering to pay up to £350 towards independent financial advise before I make to the decision to take up their offer of compensation.
I certainly wouldn't have done it without your prompt.
I have just given up work to become a full time student so this money couldn't have come at at better time!
THANKS AGAIN!!!

I don't suppose you have a link to the letter do you? My husband usually deals with our mortgage (to be honest I'm that busy I leave that bit to him) and I know we will have a shortfall. Our's finishes in 2012.
Is it difficult to find out if you are entitled to any comp?
Thanks for any reply. All credit cards paid off.
