I am in exactly the same position with A&L and I'm going to take (BOE+.99) and wait and see as it is costing me nothing.neetugopal wrote: »I spoke to my current mortgage provider A&L and I was surprised to find out that my new rate is going to be 5.99 (BOE rate +.99) which is not bad as I don't have to pay arrangement & exit fees for switching supplier. I am pondering the idea of sticking with A&L for a year or so and hope market improves to allow me to get a better deal :-)Live on a little over £4k challenge

Did you apply for this a while ago? We got a tracker at 0.63% above base making it currently 5.63% which we thought was not bad as FTBs and we can afford a hike in interest rates. But we applied for this mortgage the day before Halifax increased their rates the first time  (about a month or so ago)0 -

Well done..You got it just in time..
I applied around 3 weeks ago..However I am going to stick with A&L as arrangement and switching fess does not make the deal worth switching..:: No unapproved links in signatures please - MSE Forum Team ::0
