AQA how does it work?

Hi all,
I'm on income support and I'm struggling. I can earn up to £20 a week and this would really help me right now. From what little I know about it, AQA sounds like it might be right for me, but I've got a few questions.
Is there a minimum amount of questions you have to answer?
How long would it take me to earn the £20?
How hard is it?
Are there any qualifications needed?
Anything else I should know about it?
Sorry to ask so many questions, any info would be great.

Hey Ames! First up, I don't work for AQA, but I sent off my test a couple of says ago! In the meantime I've done a lot of research on here, and I think I can answer your questions.
Is there a minimum amount of questions you have to answer?
From what I hear, no. Though they apparently review you every couple of months, and you need to be fairly active. What that translates to, I don't know, but I've hears stories of people going weeks at a time without logging in.
How long would it take me to earn the £20?
They pay 30p per question. So that would be 67 questions a week! I think most people average 4 minutes per question to begin with, so it's about 4 and a half hours!
How hard is it?
Depends on the questions you answer! And how good you are at googling and stuff! Though I hear you need to answer a few "hard" questions to fill your quota!
Are there any qualifications needed?
Apparently you need a degree. I don't have one but I applied anyway because I hear a lot of people have the job without one!
Anything else I should know about it?
Just that you will need to take a test, and your spelling and grammar needs to be spot on. But it seems you're pretty much okay with it!
There's a really good thread on these forums, you can find it by googling "Working for AQA" and it's like the third one down. Very handy!0 -

There is no minimum with AQA. However, any earnings below £20 are carried forward to the next month.
You can log on whenever you choose and work for as long as you like.
You must answer 8% hard questions within a month and skip no more than 45% of questions (not that hard to do).
Not everyone who works for AQA has a degree. You just need to demonstrate your ability when you answer the test questions.
When answering the test questions, put yourself in the position of the customer and give an answer that you would be impressed with (fun, interesting and gramatically correct).
From what I have read AQA would be better than Texperts for you because you are not restricted to the hours you work (no shifts, rotas etc). Although I think AQA are stricter (if they weren't they would lose customers and there would be no questions to answer).
You are paid during the first week of a month for the previous months answers, regular as clockwork and no hastle.
Once you have been answering questions for a few weeks you will get your answer time down to 2-3 minutes per question, so it is quite easy to earn £20 in a week.
It can be daunting at first, but it really does get quite easy.
Don't lose your concentration and get carried away though because you are reviewed on a regular basis and must meet certain minumum standards (again this looks impossible at first but is not).
Questions have picked up a lot in the last month or so and you will soon learn the busy times (weekends and after 9pm usually).
Most weekends, a few hours on a Saturday afternoon or evening would see you comfortably earn £20, so it sounds like the type of thing you are looking for.
Good luck and if you need any more info just ask

That's great thanks, I'll speak to my welfare rights advisor about it and if he thinks it wouldn't affect my benefits I'll have a go and apply.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
