Iam assuming you want to lend it to him so he doesn't have to go through an IVA/DMP.?
Could you lend him just enough to bring down his other payments to a manageable level...that way he has the benefit of your money but still with some responsibility for the rest of his debts if he continues to spend spend spend you wont have lost it all and he will learn an even harder lesson loosing your respect and having to go to IVA/DMP.'Beware of little expenses. Yes, I don't want him to go through an IVA, I've never been in debt, luckily. He owes about £2000 on 4 credit cards, £8000 on a bank loan and the interest keeps going up. It's too easy to get credit cards but there's a catch in them all.
Perhaps I could lend him half for each creditor? He says he wants a fresh start and will never let it happen again, I hope so
Thanks for your help0 -
Throw his cards away after...don't just cut them up and keep them in a draw i did this and it doesn't stop you Internet shopping....chuck'em out.!!!'Beware of little expenses. A small leak will sink a great ship'. -Benjamin Franklin.0
