Company Contributing to Pension Advice

Hi There All, I am now eligible to take up a company pension and have been told the company will contribute equally to me up to 6%. I have been told this pension (and their contributions) are to me personally as a personal pension (thus if i leave the company, the whole pot leaves with me). i'm 27 and earn £36k a year, is this a good deal, should i go for it?
Many Thanks All

Free money.
£2160 from the employer going in your pension each year. Plus, your 6% is before tax so you are really only paying 4.8%. Its a complete no brainer to join this scheme. Go for it.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only.
