charging order/ccj & unfair penalties

hello there,
iam new to the forum & any comments/advice would be wellcomed,
iam due to go to court for a final charging order at end of the month
DCA bought my old credit card debt from barclaycard & obtained a ccj against me, i was quite ill at the time it went to court, so was unable to defend it , and was ordered to pay by instalment which i have been doing, but was late with one payment, but i am still paying and up to date , so because of the late payment i had an interim charging order land on my doormat, after doing a bit of reading in forums i think that alot of the debt was made up of penalty charges from the original creditor & the DCA
does anyone know if i could reclaim any money back from the creditor as i already have a ccj,the debt is now over £5.000, and if the charging order is granted they get 8% interest per month until the debt is paid because it is over £5k ,what a riip off, my blood pressure is seriously high , no wonder with this going on,
